Odisha CHSE 12th Exam: CHSE Board 12th Exams Cancelled, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Announced
Odisha Board 12th examinations have been cancelled. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has ordered the cancellation of the 12th board examination conducted by the CHSE (Council of Higher Secondary Education) this year in view of the pandemic situation. The CM says that the life of the students is more important than the examination. The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha had already cancelled the class 10 board examination to be held in the state in view of the outbreak of corona virus.
According to the notification issued by the Odisha Board, students will be evaluated on the basis of 40 percent marks in class 10th examination, students' performance in class 9th examination and 60 percent marks on the basis of performance of students in class 10th 40 percent weightage will be given to the highest marks secured in class 9 examinations in each subject, while 60 per cent weightage will be given to class 10 performance. Out of the three practice tests conducted in class 10, the two highest marks in all the subjects will be given 30 percent weightage each
Explain that the Madhyamik exam result will also be published analysing the performance of the students in class 9th and 10th exams, while the same method will be followed for middle-east regular students like HSC pre-regular. The board has set a tentative target to publish the results of all examinations on June 30.
